Our Home Remodeling Process

The CMP Construction Approach

At CMP Construction, our process ensures your remodeling project will go smoothly. Remodeling can be complicated which is why we strive to keep things streamlined and simple. From consultation, to communication, to completion, our proven process keeps things moving forward and keeps our customers happy.

Our Process – Two Easy Steps

Step 1
Initial In-Home Consultation: We meet you in your home to find out what you want and to share ideas and solutions. We cover your budget and determine if the project can be completed within it. We talk some more until you’re happy with both the project and the price. We leave with you a general budget amount for your project.

Detailed Project Scope: Once the cost of the project is within your budget, we go back to our offices and create a detailed project proposal scope. It will include action items plus allowance amounts for specific items that you will need to select.

Step 2
Followup Meeting: We meet at your home (or if you prefer, by phone) and clarify all of the information as well as the budget. Then we give you a breakdown of what you can expect time wise with a series of phases you can expect leading up to project completion.

Planning Phases: Once the proposal and scope terms are agreed upon, the CMP Construction team plans the phases and timelines. You make your selections and we bas our lead times on those selections. At this point, we set a schedule so you know what to expect. For bathroom remodels you can usually expect between two and six weeks (each project varies). You will be appointed a project manager who will be your contact throughout the entire project. That project manager will communicate with you on a daily basis and keep you up to date on progress and upcoming phases. The owner will also check the progress of the remodeling project with daily visits to ensure quality and professionalism throughout the project.
